FIRST LOOK: Attack Wing Wave 14

U.S.S Pegasus

StarTrek.com has the final First Look at NECA/WizKids' upcoming Star Trek: Attack Wing Wave 14 releases, and today we preview the Federation U.S.S. Pegasus, out in May.

Due to it being a prototype vessel, this Oberth class starship allows Tech Upgrades to be deployed to it at a discount.

Admiral Erik Pressman can take advantage of that savings as he’ll have more upgrades at his disposal to use to increase the attack potential of his ship.

Ronald Moore can spring to action and place a Battle Station action beside the ship, which is beneficial since the U.S.S. Pegasus does not have it listed on its action bar.

Regardless of which Captain is used for the ship, William T. Riker can help increase their Captain Skill or step in to take command should the Captain become disabled or discarded.

The lost crew of the U.S.S. Pegasus provides many different options as they help man the ship. Andy Simonson allows for optimal action selection by looking at another ship’s maneuver before action declaration.

Phil Wallace can adjust the ship’s speed to allow for optimal placement while Dawn Velazquez can take command and move a ship out of a troubling location.

Finally, Eric Motz can allow for further enhancements to a ship by adding an additional Tech Upgrade slot to the ship’s Upgrade Bar.

Being a prototype vessel, the U.S.S. Pegasus introduces several interesting and new Tech Upgrades.

The Specialized Shields provide the opportunity to reroll a blank result when defending as well as reduce damage sustained from obstacles and minefields. The Phasing Cloaking Device adds the Cloak and Sensor Echo icons to the ship’s action bar. While limiting the distance the ship can move while cloaked, it allows the ship to retain its actions when overlapping another ship’s base or obstacle and prevents damage when overlapping obstacles.

Finally, should the ship be destroyed in combat, the Captain and up to two Crew can find refuge in the Escape Pod.

Players will test their skills as they undertake the solo adventure from the expansion: The Pegasus. With Captain Erik Pressman in command, the U.S.S. Pegasus must successfully navigate through an asteroid field in the Devolin System. With tensions rising, can the crew band together to find their way clear or is the ship doomed to be lost forever?

Imo zu viel Attack.. Ansonsten durchaus stimmig.

Finde die Upgrades auch sehr passend. Das mit dem -1er Admiral ist eine witzige Idee. Nicht jeder Admiral ist für einen Captain hilfreich.

Ich bin total gespannt auf die Rettungskapsel.

Jup - die Rettungskapseln sind eine super Idee - eigentlich überraschend das die jetzt erst kommen.
Spätestens beim Enterprise-E Set hätten die ja schon dabei sein müssen - wenn nicht sogar im AW Grundset ^^

Das Model von dem Schiff ist leider sehr hässlich geraten
